Basic Image Editing Once you've created an image in Photoshop Elements, you may need to modify it to achieve the desired results. To save time you may prefer to edit the image in Photoshop Elements before saving it back to your computer. However, the following features are available in Photoshop Elements: Colors Colors are the main way you can change the color scheme of an image. Every picture can have its color tone changed by the colors you apply in the image. You can use any image format for changing the colors, like GIF, JPEG, or Photoshop. If you have a photo in a format that does not have the concept of colours such as a GIF or JPEG you can use the colour wheel of the image to define the colour or create a colour scheme using the presets provided.
